Designed by TopGreen, recently introduced after testing by experts, and improved their expectations; all these define the V2 Pro pen vaporizer of the XMax collection, including XMax Starry. Unlike what you may see in the photos, it is a large pen that creates an illusion of small size.
This latest XMAX vaporizer has all improvements seen in the Storm vaporizer, such as the 5-minute auto shut off timer, a single button to operate, and a separated airpath. However, great vapor clouds and a cheap price tag set it apart from other pen-style portables.

It is amazing to have a 3-in-1 vaporizer at an extremely low price, as it can vaporize dry herbs, extracts, and liquids. The design of V2 Pro is of a large pen e-cig. Its form factor makes it easy to glide it into a pocket. As it is bigger than a normal pen vaporizer, it can pull attention in public. Still, it is highly portable.
This pen is also durable with its lightweight nickel frame and solid rubber mouthpiece. There is some weight, but it is average as compared to portables such as Firefly 2.
Due to the integrated waxy cup of organic cotton and stainless steel, it is bliss to relish concentrates as low-temperature dabs or e-liquid hits via the same chamber that heats your herbs.
The mouthpiece comes out to show the ceramic chamber, which features a screen of stainless steel for guided convection vaping, considering that V2 Pro is a conduction device.
A silicone cover on a connection point to the battery keeps activation at bay during transit. You need to remove the cover to activate the device by pressing the only button thrice. This results in flashing the LED that goes blank. Now, wait a few seconds and hold the same button for triggering the heating process.
You can now set the temperature by pressing the same button for two seconds. There are five preset settings, namely, 356-, 374-, 392-, 410- and 428-degrees Fahrenheit. The heating time is 45 to 75 seconds, which is commendable.
Deep Chamber
Unlike many other portables, the heating chamber is deep, long, and narrow, due to which the herbs are toasted evenly via conduction. This chamber also results in sweet, smooth clouds without giving that typical burnt toast flavor.
Isolated Airpath
Other vaporizers show the top layer of the mix fresh, but the part near the screen is charred. This is not an issue with V2 Pro, as it comes with an isolated airpath, which means that the incoming air remains untouched by all internal electronics.
This means that safety was in the mind of the makers of V2 Pro. The steam-insulated path gives clean steam without any odd flavor or dirt.
Removable Batteries
The replaceable 18650 battery runs for 45-60 minutes and takes two hours to recharge fully via micro USB cable. This battery life is commendable.
