Starry’s key attraction is its characteristic similarity with the Storz & Bickel Crafty, an esteemed device in the world of premium portable vaping. It comes with all the bells and whistles of a premium vaporizer, including top vapor quality, full-gamut temperature control, and a removable and rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

Unlike other budget models made using plastic, Starry’s exterior is built using anodized aluminum. This material makes it lightweight and strong. The LED screen is bright. The edges are at a perfect angle to keep spillage at bay on the oven, which is commendable.

The mouthpiece swivels out at the time of use and then swivels in when not in use. Interestingly, it is made using ceramic zirconia, a premium material found in a few vapes such as the DaVinci IQ that is highly efficient and durable. 

The mouthpiece is magnetic, due to which it does not come out when in the pocket. The magnetic ceramic mouthpiece contributes to the smoothness of the draws. 

The ceramic chamber contains a screen of stainless steel. It makes conduction seamless. This, along with a ceramic zirconia mouthpiece, ensures a cleaner draw and a pure flavor. Although the chamber should be burnt off before use, it gives some phenomenal clouds.

The display screen has three buttons, of which the largest one is the power button. Press it for three seconds to turn on the device with the Welcome message on the OLED screen, while the remaining two are for setting the temperature.

Once the vaporizer is charged, lift the mouthpiece and fill the chamber with up to 0.3g of ground dry herbs without packing it too tightly. Now, turn the device on and set the desired temperature by holding power and – buttons for two seconds. The supported temperature range is 212°F to 464°F, which means you get more out of your herb.

Once heated, a five-minute timer counting back will appear on the screen. You can double this time by pressing the power and + buttons for two seconds. The device heats quite quickly within 30 seconds.

Versatile

Although primarily for dry herbs, X Max Starry v3 also vaporizes cannabis extracts. You only need to insert the included waxy cap into the chamber. The liquid pad vaporizes all concentrates and liquids. Apply a little of your concentrate to the cart and heat it at the highest temperature setting for the best outcome. 

Removable Battery

The 2500mAh 18650 battery lasts up to 60 to 80 minutes and takes around 2-3 hours to charge.
